	Sensei Aikido Joshiki Dojo Varese technical direction is lead by sensei Mauro Terzi (3rd dan), who follows sensei Savegnago (7th dan) teachings.

Master Mauro Terzi was born in Varese on 24th February 1955. He started practising aikido when he was 26 at Master Amic Varese dojo.

But aikido wasn't his only interest. He attended fencing courses (foil and sword) for seven years and he has been practising target-shooting for 20 years; a passion that hasn't faded away yet.

Mauro Terzi became black belt 1st dan in 1987. After six years he became ni dan and in 1998 he reached the present rank of san dan.


	During the practicing years he's had the opportunity to meet and get in touch with many aikido masters as M° Filippini (anno 1984), il M° Savegnago (anno 1985), il M° Kobayashi (1987), il M° Riondet, il M° Halm (anno 1987), il M° Cognard (anno 1987), il M° Polimeno (anno 1988), il M° Suriano (anno 1988), il M° Kimura (1999) and many others.
